Therapy with me is a place to learn new tools, form new habits, and create better routines to set you up for long-term change. Let’s prioritize your mental health goals together.

Submit an inquiry here or schedule a phone consultation so we can determine if we’re a good fit—energetically, clinically, and logistically. We’ll talk about why you’re starting therapy and what you’d like to work on, and you’ll have the chance to ask any questions you may have.

Then, we’ll schedule our first session and get to work. The first few sessions are for gathering information, such as your personal relationship history, and understanding your goals.

I will give you my thoughts about your unique style and patterns and recommendations for how to meet the goals you want to achieve.

Let the work begin! We’ll decide how frequently to meet and start our deep dive into therapy together. This process requires hope, time, patience, and self-compassion. It may be difficult at times, but it will also be worth it. You’ll leave with a better understanding of yourself and your needs, plus the confidence to fully embrace all of who you are.
Where Will We Meet?
I offer virtual services to make therapy more accessible and flexible in today’s rapidly changing world—alleviating transportation barriers, scheduling conflicts, or health concerns that make it difficult to accommodate in-person sessions.
As long as you have reliable internet connection and a quiet space to talk, you can meet with me virtually from the comfort of your home through private, confidential video conferencing software that I’ll set you up with.
INVESTMENT
Therapy is a commitment and can feel like a considerable investment. You may find it difficult to reach out for help, or you may feel like you don’t have big enough problems to warrant going to therapy. This isn’t true. You deserve to have a space dedicated to your healing and growth. By committing to therapy, you are making an investment your future self will be grateful for.
Once you commit to therapy with me, I make a commitment to you. I have set up policies and fees that create an environment that allows me to show up to each session ready to dedicate my energy, attention, and expertise to you.

*I do offer session extensions (80 or 100 minute sessions) at a prorated fee.

Sessions are typically 50 minutes. Occasionally, an extended 80 minute or 100 minute session may be accommodated based on direction and session content.

It varies! This depends on the concern(s) bringing you to therapy. If you are going through a sudden unexpected crisis and are needing some support to manage or process things, it may only take a few sessions. However, if the reason that brings you to therapy is something that has been with you for many years of life, it is likely that you may need more time to begin to notice progress towards your goals. I can provide you with a better idea following your initial session.

My job is to work myself out of a job! I love the work I do. And, I also want my clients to experience lasting change, which would limit the frequency of therapy sessions. I’ve noticed that clients who adhere to weekly sessions at the beginning, experience increasingly positive outcomes and an easier time getting started in their therapeutic work. However, weekly sessions are NOT mandatory in order to work with me–we can work out a routine that works best for you. As you move through your therapeutic journey, we will eventually transition to bi-weekly, then monthly sessions. Previous clients are always welcome for “tune ups” as needed!

The current rate for individual therapy is $140/50 minute session. My fees are set in line with my expertise, years of experience, and my postgraduate level training. The fee includes the time we spend together in session, as well as time spent outside of your session planning your treatment/support and keeping progress notes.
A reduced fee based on household income may be offered on occasion. I reserve a limited number of spots in my schedule to offer reduced fee sessions. When possible I will work with you to find a way for therapy to be financially sustainable. Please contact me to discuss.

The simple answer is, typically, yes. As mental health becomes more and more of a priority, most workplace and private insurance providers will offer coverage for Psychotherapy. There may, however, be conditions to your insurance coverage for therapy, as what is covered varies from plan to plan. It is important to do your due diligence before starting therapy so you don’t get stuck with unexpected out-of-pocket payments afterwards. To ensure that Psychotherapy is covered by your insurance provider, you’d need to confirm with your employer or your insurance provider directly.

You are not locked in. Therapy is for YOU! We know from research that the therapeutic relationships between client/therapist is the biggest indicator of change. If at any point you feel like I am not the best fit for you, I will help you connect with a therapist to transition over to.

Yes, currently all my sessions are offered online via a secure video platform. You will be sent a secure link to click on at your appointment time.

Absolutely! Research has shown that therapy delivered online is comparable to in-person therapy. In fact, it has added advantages such as being able to access specialists outside your geographical location, saves you time and money on travel to/from appointments, and you can access it from the safety and comfort of your own home, office, or even a (parked!) car—anywhere private and safe.

Clients must notify me of a cancellation at least 24 hours in advance. If a client does not show up for their session and has not contacted me at least 24 hours in advance, they are charged the full cost of the missed session.
