MAKING SPACE TO
UNDERSTAND & PRIORITIZE YOURSELF
If you’re here, you’re likely feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, or you can see history repeating itself and you are unsure how to escape it. You’ve probably tried everything under the sun, but can’t seem to shake some of the feelings you’ve been experiencing. You may feel overwhelmed or like everything is out of your control. You want to feel a sense of ease in your life.
I help people like you (or you child) break free from this cycle and find deep, lasting healing.

Note From the Founder, Imogen
Life unfolds in beautiful, messy, unpredictable and at times, immensely painful ways. As we make our way through it all, we sometimes need support steering through the terrain of our inner world so that we can show up more fully to all that is happening in our outer world.
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, alone, stuck or disconnected, then I’m so glad you found your way here. I know that finding the right person to support you in your journey is both a vulnerable and important task. I feel honoured to do this work and I am endlessly in awe of our capacity as humans to walk alongside and support each other as we heal and grow
"When we have the courage to walk into our story and own it, we get to write the ending."
– Brené Brown
EVIDENCE-BASED THERAPY, WITH HEART
How We Can Work Together
I hold space for people wanting to explore the emotions that might have felt too heavy to carry, or too overwhelming to face alone — including the challenges that appear in the many different facets of life. Below are some areas I offer support in.
-
Trauma is the response to a distressing event that overwhelms a person’s ability to cope; but ultimately, trauma is an injury to the nervous system. It can leave lasting effects on your body, mind, and relationships. It sways your capacity to engage in, and navigate daily life.
Although you may find yourself going through the motions of daily life following painful events, you might feel “stuck” in the past. This happens because your body doesn’t realize that the event is in the past. Your body responds as though the trauma is still happening.
In sessions with me, you can expect that we work together to create a state of balance and regulation in your body and nervous system. We may also explore the usefulness of your current behaviours and support you in finding calmness and safety.

Have you ever desired to get close to someone but couldn’t? Or maybe you’re tired of falling into the same unhealthy relational dynamics? Perhaps you identify with the concept of “people-pleasing,” and struggle with codependent relationship patterns. You’re not alone. As humans we intrinsically seek connection.
Relationship issues are complex and sometimes require work. Your needs and wants in your relationships are important, and you can take steps to make sure those needs are met. Here, you can learn how to build more balanced, fulfilling relationships with the people in your life—including yourself.
-
Eating disorders such as Bulimia Nervosa, Anorexia Nervorsa, over-exercising, and overeating stem from deep cultural, familial, institutional, relational, or traumatic issues. Eating disorders are adaptive in nature and provide a way to avoid or numb as a survival mechanism. Our relationship with food and exercise is directly correlated with relationships with others and ourselves.
I believe that full eating disorder recovery is possible, and everyone has the power within themselves to find peace and healing. Together we will get to the root of, and process the messages you learned about food and your body, discover the function of your eating, and create a unique pathway to recovery to help you live a life that is free from obsessing about food and body shame.

Sometimes we feel stuck in the same loop, thinking about the same things, making the same old decisions. Have you found yourself struggling to stay present because you’re ruminating about a thought or situation?
First and foremost, I believe that anxiety is a normal human emotion that we all experience, and there are reasons we should experience anxiety rather than trying to rid ourselves of it entirely. I help you learn effective coping strategies, but also provide you the space to get curious about your anxiety, learn how to better understand it and what it’s trying to tell you—making way for the ability to work with it and deal with it in a more balanced way.

Most of us will experience grief at some point in our lifetime. Typically, most people associate grief with the death of a loved one or a beloved pet, however, I want to normalize grief as a likely reaction to any loss. This may be in the form of break-ups, job losses, broken dreams, moving schools, physical health concerns, or any other major life transition.
All grief has one thing in common: it hurts, and it often feels unbearable. Real talk: grief is not easy, and it’s even harder on your own.
Processing grief and loss is unique to each person. Whatever your grief looks like, your process of grief is valuable and real. I’d be honoured to accompany and support you in making sense of your feelings.

What is Psychotherapy &
Why Is It Transformative for Your Wellbeing?
Being a teenager or a young adult means juggling a ton of responsibilities. It can sometimes feel like a lot to handle, and the weight of it all can be truly overwhelming. Individual therapy offers a safe, warm, non-judgemental space where you simply be yourself and reflect on what matters most to you. Therapy can support your sense of safety, power, and control over your life. It can also become a space where you can finally begin to unlearn the patterns that no longer serve you, and instead learn to envision and embody your wholeness.
